In August 2016, a new defibrillator was officially installed at Prestbury Squash Club.

The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a potentially life-saving piece of equipment and a welcome addition to the first aid provision of the Club.

The defibrillator was funded entirely through membership donations and installed by our very supportive club members.

The decision to install the defibrillator is a preventative measure as this vital piece of equipment can increase someone’s chances of survival should the unthinkable happen.

The machine is fully automatic and talks the helpers through the procedure. Full training will be offered to members and take place at the club, led by competent members under the auspices of trained medical staff.
